When I try to boot xanmod on my laptop it reboots to grub.

How could I get some logs to figure out what's happening?

Hello gabboman, welcome to the xanmod kernel forum!
You should be able to choose the kernel to boot; at least two kernels are recommended for safety reasons.
What kernel are you trying to boot, XanMod 4.17 or 4.14? Have you tried both? NVidia drivers?
Please read where logs are: https://www.eurovps.com/blog/important-l...onitoring/

wow, I didnt know there was an LTS version. I installed the lts and it boots fine. It seems like a problem with the intel driver but im not sure

Also my pc doesnt have nvidia card.

Thanks for your time. I will try to research a little bit more and provide you logs of the failure on the latest kernel version

You're welcome @gabboman. Xanmod 4.14.x LTS is one of the strongest and stablest kernels I have tested about the last three years. It's solid like a rock, with the best combination of speed and stability, obviously including all the enhancements from the compiling work of the maintainer/compiler @Alexandre. If the LTS flavour works for you it's sure that you will get near all the benefits of XanMod kernel itself. Smile

PS. probably upcoming 4.17.x non-LTS kernels will work for you, and also you can try future 4.18/4.19.
