Nvidia error 43

I'm using xanmod kernels for a long time for dell xps 9570.
In a kernel 4.19.4-xanmod3 I've finally got working Nvidia videocard in eGPU box, which is forwarded via thunderbolt3 to qemu-kvm to windows 10.
When I upgraded to kernel 4.20.0 , I was able to boot in windows, but receiving "error 43" for GPU in windows device manager. The same error appeared in a many xanmod kernels before.
I can stay with 4.19.4, but interested why is it stable and working and others are not.
Do anyone have any thoughts on it? Ready to provide diag info if needed.

can you provide a dmesg from linux?

Proprietary drivers can always present problems with recent versions of linux. We recommend that you always use the latest driver version or try the 4.19 LTS until NVIDIA solves the compatibility problem w/ 4.20.

Thank you for the answer. Looks like latest kernel 4.20.4 works well too. With the same windows video driver. I'm continue investigating this interesting case. Seems nvidia driver is not the root case of such behavior.
